Day 1 – Madurai
Arrive at Madurai Railway Station/Airport, refresh and begin your local sightseeing. Visit the magnificent Meenakshi Amman Temple, followed by Alaghar Temple, Palamudhircholai Murugan Temple, Thiruparankundram Murugan Temple, Mariamman Water Tank, Gandhi Museum and Thirumalai Nayakar Palace. Enjoy the rich cultural and spiritual atmosphere of Madurai before your overnight stay.
Day 2 – Madurai to Rameswaram
Travel from Madurai to Rameswaram, approximately 175 km / 3 hours. Explore the sacred island and its important attractions, including Pamban Bridge, Ramanatha Swamy Temple, Ramar Patham, Laxmana Theertham, Kothandaramaswamy Temple, Agni Theertham, Hanuman Temple, Floating Stone and the Abdul Kalam Museum. Continue to Dhanushkodi, known for its dramatic coastal scenery and spiritual significance. Overnight stay in Rameswaram.
Day 3 – Rameswaram to Thanjavur
Begin the morning with an early darshan before travelling to Thanjavur, approximately 240 km / 5 hours. On arrival, explore the magnificent Brihadeeswarar Temple, followed by Thanjavur Palace and Museum. Discover the architectural and artistic legacy of the historic Chola capital. Overnight stay in Thanjavur.
Day 4 – Thanjavur to Trichy
Travel from Thanjavur to Trichy, approximately 60 km / 1 hour. Explore the city's famous spiritual and historical attractions, including Rockfort, Ranganathaswamy Temple at Srirangam, Samayapuram and Tiruvanaikaval Temple. Overnight stay in Trichy.
Day 5 – Trichy to Madurai & Departure
After breakfast, travel from Trichy to Madurai and enjoy local sightseeing depending on your available time. Later, proceed for your onward journey with a convenient drop at Madurai Airport or Railway Station.
