2. Our Role as a Travel Agent
BookMyGetaway operates as a travel agent, facilitating bookings of flights, hotels, attractions, car rentals, and holiday packages.
We act as an intermediary between you and travel suppliers such as airlines, hotel operators, car rental providers, and activity operators.
The contract for the actual travel product or service (e.g., hotel stay, flight, attraction ticket) is between you and the supplier, not BookMyGetaway.
3. User Responsibilities
Provide accurate, complete, and current information during booking.
Be responsible for ensuring you have valid passports, visas, travel insurance, and health documents as required by your destination country.
Comply with supplier rules, including check-in times, baggage allowances, cancellation deadlines, and identification requirements.
Not use our Services for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
4. Pricing, Payment & Currency
All prices are based on availability at the time of booking and may fluctuate until payment is completed.
Prices may be shown in different currencies (GBP, INR, EUR, USD, etc.). Exchange rates are determined by our suppliers and payment gateways at the time of booking.
Payments are processed securely via authorised gateways. You agree that you are responsible for any applicable bank charges, currency conversion fees, or international transaction fees.
BookMyGetaway may charge a service fee on certain bookings, which will be displayed before payment.
5. Booking Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only after you receive a confirmation email or WhatsApp message with your itinerary and booking reference number.
Until confirmation is issued, availability and pricing are not guaranteed.
6. Cancellations, Changes & Refunds
Cancellation and refund policies are set by the suppliers (airlines, hotels, etc.). BookMyGetaway will follow these rules when processing requests.
Our service fees are non-refundable once a booking has been made.
Refund processing times may vary depending on suppliers (typically 7–30 working days).
Some bookings may be non-refundable or non-changeable. These conditions will be displayed during booking.
7. Liability Disclaimer
BookMyGetaway is not liable for flight delays, cancellations, or reschedules.
We are not liable for hotel overbookings, changes in facilities, or service failures.
We are not liable for force majeure events (e.g., weather, strikes, natural disasters, pandemics).
Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for the booking through us.
We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses (missed flights, loss of enjoyment, additional expenses, etc.).
8. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance (covering medical, cancellations, baggage, and delays).
BookMyGetaway is not responsible for any costs arising from lack of insurance.
9. Privacy & Data Protection
Your personal data is collected, stored, and processed in line with our Privacy Policy.
We comply with UK GDPR and relevant data protection laws in the countries we operate.
By using our Services, you consent to the use of your information for booking purposes, including sharing necessary details with suppliers.
10. International Users (India & Other Regions)
Customers booking from India or other countries must comply with their local laws, banking regulations, and travel requirements.
Payments may be processed via local or international gateways (UPI, credit/debit cards, bank transfers).
BookMyGetaway is not responsible for additional currency conversion charges or bank fees applied by your financial institution.
For Indian customers, disputes or claims must first be raised with BookMyGetaway via email at contact@bookmygetaway.co.uk before pursuing legal action.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales.
For international customers (including India), disputes will be handled in accordance with UK law, unless otherwise required by local consumer protection regulations.
